Annaleigh Amanda Ashford is an American actress singer and dancer. The first Broadway roles are Wicked Legally Blonde & Hair. In the musical, Hair. Tony Award was given to Ashford for the role of Essie Carmichael. She was in You Can't Take It With You. Tony Award-winning actress Annaleigh Ashford has spent her career working alongside renowned actors and directors across stage as well as television. She keeps working on that award-winning project with various upcoming projects. Ashford is set to next appear alongside Kumail Nannjiani as part of Robert Siegel's Hulu Limited Series Welcome to Chippendales premiering November 22. Ashford is currently in production for Searchlight Pictures' horror thriller Dust featuring Sarah Paulson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. The film will be available on Disney's DTC platforms as a Hulu Original. Ashford comes back to Broadway in March 2023, in which he'll be starring alongside Josh Groban opposite Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. The production will be held at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
